Honor your Past as your Teacher
Your Present as your Creation
And your Future as your Inspiration!

Have a good look at your life, where you have been, what you have achieved, who you are now and who you aspire to be.

Honour your past as your teacher. Each and every situation that occurs throughout life is like a carefully planned itinerary, mapped out just for you, bringing with it challenges, lessons and messages all in the hope of guiding you in the direction of your life purpose.

Whether or not you choose to take any notice of these messages is up to you, because you have free will and choice at all times. This doesn’t mean, that the knocks on your door will stop, it does mean however, that you have chosen yet again to ignore a very important message which is imperative to your growth, and guess what? That’s right. The universe will have to come up with a situation that’s a little tougher than the last. Not to punish you, just to try and wake you up.

A great little exercise that’s worth doing is to list in order all the tough situations you can remember going through. Notice the reoccurring patterns. Notice that each situation that had the same pattern or theme was always a little tougher than the last. Have a good look at your list. If you were given the opportunity to reorder it, would you? Could you imagine how much more difficult it would be if you were hit with something that happened last year, ten years ago? Without having had the experience of that ten years. Would you have had the tools to cope as well as you did?

Let’s take it one step further, had you have been aware of the messages and learnt the lessons do you think that you would have needed to attract to yourself, more of the same stuff? I’m sure we both know the answer to that, a big NO.

So you see Your Present is Your Creation. We create these situations in order to learn and grow. All you need to do is be aware of what situations you are attracting. Notice the reoccurring patterns, messages and lessons that come with them, learn and move on. In doing this you will radiate a totally different energy; If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got.

Honour your Future as your Inspiration. Your past and all of your experiences have created this very moment, they have made you who you are right now. Your past at the very least has shown you that you have the strength it takes to get through anything. Your future is a source of your inspiration take with you your new found learning’s and an Attitude of Gratitude, knowing that there is a positive intention for everything. Aim High and know that you can Achieve Anything!

Your potential is unlimited.
Aspire to a high place.
Believe in your abilities,
In your tastes and in your judgment.

Imagine and perceive
That which you wish to be.
Back your image with
Enthusiasm and Courage.

Feel the reality of your ‘New’ self;
Live in the expectancy of greater things
And know that what you radiate
You Will Attract.

Your world is what you perceive it to be. If you think it’s good or bad you’re right, if you think you can or can’t you’re also right.

Gandhi’s Completeness
On a certain day Gandhi and a companion entered the gates of a great city in order to share their teachings with the inhabitants. Almost immediately a follower of the Mahatma, who lived in the city, approached and told him, “Master you are wasting your time and energy here. The people here are hard of heart, and resistant to change and the words of truth. They are dumb and ignorant and have no wish to learn anything. Master do not waste your gifts on them.”

Gandhi smiled at the man and replied, “I have no doubt you are right.”

Some minutes later another adherent approached Gandhi saying, “My lord, you are indeed most welcome by all in this fortunate city. The people await and anticipate the jewels of learning that will fall from your lips. They are hungry to learn and eager to serve you. Their hearts and minds are truly open to you.”

Gandhi smiled and replied, “I have no doubt that you are right too.”

His companion turned to him and said, “Master, how is it possible that you can agree with one man and agree also to something completely different with another? The sun and the moon can never be the same thing, and day cannot be night.”

Gandhi smiled at his friend and replied, “I have no doubt you are right. And you may also consider that both men spoke truly according to their own values. The first expects to see the bad in everything. The second sees only the good. Both men perceive the world as they expect it to be. How can you say either man perceives wrongly since all humankind perceives the world as they choose to experience it? Neither man spoke falsely; just something incomplete.”
